Curriculum vitae – Sagrario Gallego
PRESENT OCCUPATION
Graphic designer, specializing in editorial design.
I work with either PC or Mac indistinctly, in Quark Xpress or Indesign. As well as design and page composition, I do proof corrections, filming, scanning and image manipulation (generally using Photoshop). I do design jobs using vector graphics programs such as Corel Draw or Illustrator. As a web designer, I have begun working with Flash and Dreamweaver, as well as HTML and Action Script. Inevitably these days, I am also familiar with the customary office software and tools such as MS Word, Excel y PowerPoint.
LAST PERMANENT POSITION (1989 – May, 2008)
Compositor (oficial de 1ª, senior) in the company Ángel Gallardo, Servicios Gráficos, a small photocomposition company (5 workers) which produced photoliths, typesetting and PDFs in colour or black and white for publishers’ and printers’. The jobs covered magazines, brochures and books: computing manuals, text books (education, psychology, etc.), law books, maps, etc. Its customers included Pearson and Ediciones Morata.
EDUCATION and TRAINING
Degree course in French:

FURTHER INFORMATION
I travel fairly extensively. I have visited Great Britain, France, Portugal, the Netherlands, Italy, Morocco, Turkey, Tunisia and Egypt. I am an Internet user and fond of reading.
